Proboards finally updated the board, and it threw alot of our set up out of whack. I will be setting aside time to fix this as best I can. Even if it is an empty forum.
This is also a check to see if anyone still looks here.
Testing?

I still check this place out from time to time, not sure why, but it's nice to see you around Will. Haven't seen you in forever.

I know. I've been missing you guys. I took a break. Best way I could explain it was that writing forums suddenly became very difficult and I gained access to both online games I enjoyed,in addition to obsession over table top gaming.
It's still like that honestly, but I wanted to check in to have a look around. First of all, I'm going to try to get the forum cbox going....

Well, while I would have liked if you check up on us or something to explain what was going on, I can empathize. For the longest time you had no computer capable of online computer game, and suddenly you have one? I can only imagine how it must murder your social life to work on a backlog several years in the making.
I've left for longer periods without a word and while some people get annoyed, I'm usually always welcomed back with semi-open arms. As such I'll do the same for you, whenever you feel like returning I'll be here and mushy junk like that. I hope you do come back some time, but until then I wish you good health and all that good junk.

Oh, I'm interested in writing again, but I'm not limiting myself to this forum's ideas. I love this place, and will revive some of my threads if I can get some people and action happening. I'm also considering an idea for an urban fantasy board utilizing all of the myths and legends around the world.
Or perhaps something based out of the dnd worlds/system of classes.
Mainly because, I like the flexibility of such things and we've always been more about creative writing than stats and classes.

Well I'm in a position that maybe a little shaking up from the norm might shake something loose, so honestly I'd be game. I mean I'm not sure how many people you would convince, maybe just me, but y'know whatever.

Urban fanstasy would be cast in a similar light to Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles. Maybe The Dresden Files. I haven't familiarized myself with that second one though.
The other option would be something akin to a homebrew dnd campaign. The goal would be to make it in such a way that players wouldn't need to be familiar with DnD to participate.

That first one sounds like fun. Would you be changing this forum into it? Or starting another forum?

Starting one. They're free, and I don't want to overwrite this board.

Of course, I'd have to read up on Dresden first. Or talk to someone about it alot.

Is it going to be entirely based on Dresden? IMO, might as well have fun with it.
